Page 1, 2, 3, 4   The properties of Perplas Ultra High Molecular Weight Polythene has wear resistance, self lubricant, water repellant, acid resistance, impact resistance, vibration and noise dampening, dirt repellant, light weight, make it an ideal material for support and guide of standard chain sections. Use of these sections which not only support the chain but also prevent chain vibration, assists in reducing effect of drag and extending the expectancy of the chain. Conventional guide rails manufactured from sheet or other metal are frequently responsible for excessive wear of rollers and links, particularly if sufficient lubrication is provided. The use of Perplas Green Grade PPA2 or PPA4 Black Multi-materials allows the chain to slide over the rail without any noticeable wear.
